Final Reflection

.

I enjoy these activities  because I could use my imagination, I could increase my vocabulary,  I could improve certain aspects of the subject that I was weak, also I had a great workgroup that they helped me, they advised me in every moment to write and analyze the homework, and an excellent Teacher  that was all the time helping ourselves, giving us ideas, explaining, teaching us. Thank for this good activity and for the patience that you have Teacher.

Final Reflections

First of all, the first thing that came to mind when I knew about this activity was " Oh it will be a little bit bored", but throughout every activity I realized the importance of learning and being consciously with the process in what we are going to do to make it successful. Working on a computer was better than do it on a paper. I think it was faster, and the ideas were clearer about what I wanted to write. I really have improved, and now I conscious about the process, in fact with this activity  I feel more comfortable when I write something. It was a motivated activity to keep learning.

FINAL REFLECTION

One of the first things that I thought when our teacher gave us this work, I thought it was difficult for me, because I didn’t know how to use this types of programs like Google Drive, and other things. But at the same time, I learned a lot with this type of evaluation. It took me a lot of time, but I enjoyed it! It was funny, and I think it will help us a lot when we will be teachers.

I prefer to write on a computer, because there is a lot of things that helps to write, for example: translator, grammar check, pictures, and the most important: the help of our teacher.

Crafts


               

Crafts can be an option to use your imagination, it can help you to get relax, also to improve your ability to concentrate, and to feel better with yourself when what you what to do is done. You can do it without even leave your home, and without needing to spend an excessive amounts of money, because of you use your hands and abandoned stuffs if you prefer. For example you can create something with olds CD’s, boxes, paper, etc.

University Student

What are the most important characteristics of a university student?

First of all I think that the most important characteristic of  an university student must be have vocation for what it wants to study,and to be sure of what it wants to study. Also they have to be sure of his knowledge, must be ready to learn and help the others with his knowledge, to share his knowledge, to be happy with what their  studies and strong because in the university can exist bad moment like reproved, not obtain the result that you wanted, and  you feel that you want to give up, but you must not give up, you have to continue forward with more strength.In addition an university student must be a responsible person with his works, with his homeworks, and everything what asks or demands the university.

HOW TO STUDY FOR A TEST

Studying for a test can be a headache, but at the same time it can be a good activity if we take good options to do it. The first thing you must to do is to find a comfortable and illuminated place, because without that, you will not concentrate very well. Then, you have to order the material, from the beginning until the end. After that, you can  start to read slowly, you can even play music while you are reading, but slow music. After many times that you read, you can start highlight the most important ideas, and at the same time you can memorize them slowly. That will take you about one hour, so if you are tired, you must to take a break. You can eat some fruit, drink water, or even take a rest in your bed for ten minutes. After you take your break, you have to start reading again very concentrated,but now you have to understand your contents; you can write them in a piece of paper doing conceptual maps, or simply you can memorize them and then write them again. You will see that in this way, unintentionally you will memorize all the contents.

After many hours of studying, if you are on time with the test, you can study the next day doing the same process. You will see that the next day you will prepare to do exercises with the contents either worksheets or Internet. If you follow this process, probably you will not be so stressed studying.It’s a very relaxing way to study, but at the same time it will help you a lot. This is my personal method, so if you want to create another one, you can do it!

RUNAWAY

Runaway

This animated short film in my opinion is very good, so emotional , and beautiful.

In the beginning of the story Chillie the freezer felt bad first because their door handle broke, and  second for not be so much modern like the others freezers.

One day Chillie in the distance sees that his owner was taking a catalogue with the image of a new freezer  for that reason Chillie thought that his owner was going to change it. Chillie decides to get up, unplugged alone and escapes of house with some photos. When the owner realizes that Chillie was not in the house, the owner shouts and goes out to look for it. The owner run and run to find it, he ask another freezer if they has seen it but they ignored it, but one little white machine gives him a signal where from Chillie scapes.

Finally the owner finds Chillie in the garbage, in this moment the owner explain to Chillie that it was not going to buy another freezer, only it was going to buy the door handle to fix it.The friendly machine understand that and he embraces his owner and they get back together and happy.

Oktapodi

Pulpino and Pulpina were two beautiful octopuses. Pulpino had an orange skin and Pulpina a pink skin. They were fiancé, and they were enjoying every moment together, in fact, they loved swimming at the fishbowl without interruptions, they loved running, and they felt like they were in the ocean, but there was a problem, they were there to be sold and finally eaten.

One day Pulpino and Pulpina were enjoying as usual, loving each other, but suddenly a ferocious hand caught Pulpina’s body. Pulpino was so afraid because he didn’t know what was happening, and when he realized where he was he couldn’t imagine that her life was under threat, in that moment he wanted to die because he didn’t know what to do, in a second he ran as fast as he could from the fishbowl to save her life, rapidly he came into the car, but the man saw him wanted to open the box where Pulpina was, because of it the man tried to hit him, but how he was driving he lose the control of the car. After a long struggle Pulpina realized she could stop the car and go out, so finally she did it.

When they were out of the car the man wanted to catch them, but he couldn’t and the octopuses jumped a wall falling into a pool. The man followed them while they were jumping in every pool that the houses had. Suddenly the man caught them, but he hadn’t realized that there were many stairs, and the car started jumping out of control. The man kept having the octopuses, but how they felt threatened they ejected ink to the man, and when he raised his hand the octopuses were hooked to a wire, and the man falls into the ocean, at that moment a seagull caught Pulpino, and Pulpina couldn’t believe it. Finally she jumped against the seagull and saved his live.

THE BLACK HOLE

One day, a man called Fred was printing some material in his last hours of job; he was exhausted so, the only thing that he wanted to do was going home. Suddenly, the printer didn’t work, so he kick it. After this, the printer printed a big black hole in a paper that it supposed to printed anything, but least that. He looked it and he thought that was very weird; in fact, he looked at the printer to see what was happening, but nothing was there.He saw his wristwatch and he took a glass of water, but something unusual happened. When he left the glass of water above the printed black hole, his glass disappeared under it, like the black hole swallowed the glass. He was scared, but at the same time he tried to discover what was inside the black hole. So, he inserted his hand inside the black hole like it had depth, and he took out his glass of water. He got more confused than the beginning, but at the same time he was intelligent.He used the black hole to get some snack from the machine, but his ambition was beyond. He saw the office where there was the strongbox of the enterprise. He used the black hole to open the strongbox and took out all the money that he wished. But, unfortunately his ambition was so big that, when he took out all the money and he left it on the floor, he entered to the strongbox through the black hole, staying trapped in it. Finally, the black hole fell and he was trapped inside the strongbox.After many days, Fred was founded dead. His family was devastated, but after many investigations, they will never found the big black hole.

THE OBSESSION

A man called Zeus was born and grew up in a farm with his father. His father was obsessed with animals, mainly with rabbits. First, he had 20 rabbits, but after 4 years of obsession, he died. Before he died, he said to his son to take care of his rabbits because they could die without him. So, Zeus was in charge with rabbits, he fed them and he washed them; he spent almost all day with them.

One day, Zeus went to the city to buy rabbit food and he met with a beautiful woman called Florentina; they spoke all the evening and he invited her to his father’s farm.

After years of friendship, they married and they lived together in the farm. But something weird started to happen. Zeus was so involved with the promise that his father left him, that the time started to show to his wife that rabbits were more important than her. Every time that she wanted to go out, to ride a horse with him or simply cook with him, he never could.

So, one day the worried wife didn’t know what to do with the obsession that her husband had, or she was going to become crazy. She wanted the attention of her husband; she wanted to share with her husband; she wanted to go out with him, but he couldn’t make anything about it  through the fault of the rabbits and the obsession of her husband for them. She was desperate, and all the  days were a fighting for the same thing; she was getting bored with the same situation and she spent her days angry and sad.

At night the wife was eating in the garden alone and suddenly she heard a noise; her husband didn’t know that she was there, so she disappeared immediately to see what he was going to do. The men started laughing saying “It will be the last time” , so the wife tried to get closer to him but she couldn’t. When her husband went to sleep, she was still thinking in that moment asking for herself: Is he having an affair?.  Finally she fell asleep.

The next day the wife didn’t see her husband on the bed, and the only thing she found was a paper note saying: ‘’Don’t call me, sweety. I went to buy more rabbits, kisses” but she couldn't believe it, because he hated to spend unnecessary money. Finally,  she waited for him.

When Florentina woke up, she saw to her husband feeding to the rabbits; something weird happened in her mind, so she took a knife and she came near to him and she buried a knife in her husband’s heart, saying: ‘’ You and your stupid rabbits!’’. After 3 hours of crying, the police came and they took her to jail. Her sentence was life imprisonment.

The next day some people arrived to the farm and took the 300 rabbits to a new place, it was the RSPCA. They said: ‘’ We have never seen so many rabbits, and just 2 people care for them; this is extraordinary’’.

THE END

One of the happiest moments

In the picture is my nephew very happy who got into Nicky’s house, my pet, and the box that is a house now, was made with red and brown paper. Every piece of red paper has a brick shape that is around all the box. The corners were made with a strong material to support the sides of the box. It has an entrance according the size of my pet, and above it a piece of box in a shape of bone that has the name of my dog who is called Nicky. The house was made by me, for Christmas, and now my pet can sleep there without worrying.

represents many things for me.

This beautiful place is located in Coquimbo's region, this is a beautiful green place and with many flowers of color white and red, also this place has a lot of olive trees, and in the distance we can observe the hill, and as it you can observe also it has a long dirt track. In addition in this place you can find tranquility, relaxing, peace, happiness, and all good vibes because in this place it is possible to go out of the routine of the city for a moment.In this place you can make familiar treks, have a nice moment, and have a new experience.

Diversity

In this picture we can see 8 children that are smiling and laughing. Each child has a different color skin, different color hair, and different complexion. We all can see that they are from different types of ethnic origin and cultures. They can be from India like the child with red shirt, from China like the boy and the girl with slanted eyes, from Russia like the boy with pale skin next to the Chinese boy, from USA like the boy with dark skin below, or from Haiti like the girl with striped blouse.

All of them have between 5-6 years old,so they are very young. They are at school; in fact, we can see that they are ahead of a world map. They show us that they are very respectful and tolerant with other children from different cultures. Finally, the most wonderful in this picture is the happiness and the support that we can see on them, regardless they are from different countries.
